The physical supplier at the southern gate of the Red Sea.
Red Sea Bunkering FZCO has supplied marine fuels in Djibouti since 2015, from its own tankers and trucks, in every port and at anchor.
A refuelling station since the coal era.
Djibouti’s bunkering history goes back to the 19th century, when coal-fired ships on the Europe–Asia route needed strategic refuelling stops. At the southern entrance of the Red Sea, the port became a maritime energy hub after the opening of the Suez Canal and the founding of the Port of Djibouti in 1888.
Today we continue that role with IMO-compliant marine fuels for global trade. Our ambition: to be the preferred marine fuel supplier in the region, and to support Djibouti’s development as the logistics hub of the Horn of Africa.
